Product Warranty

Digital Works stands behind the quality of its products. The ReZAP Battery Doctor™ comes with a standard warranty against all manufacturing defects, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If you purchase through this online store, the warranty period starts from the date you receive the product.

Warranty Registration

You should validate your warranty as soon as possible, either online on this site [Register Now], or by mailing/faxing the warranty form enclosed with the product. You can qualify for a warranty extension for a further 12 months (24 months total) if you fill in the survey questionnaire in the warranty form.

Warranty Returns

If the ReZAP Battery Doctor™ you purchased is damaged or defective upon receipt (dead on arrival), or if the product develops a fault within the warranty period that is due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace the defective unit with a new one.

If you bought the unit from one of our distributors, you should return the unit to the place of purchase, together with your proof of purchase. Our distributors are responsible for processing returns and replacements for units bought through them. Please do not return units that you purchased through the Digital Works Online Store to our distributors.

If you bought the unit online, you must first obtain a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) from us. You can request an RMA online here. When your request is approved, you will receive the RMA by email. Print out a copy of the RMA email and enclose it with your returned unit.

The RMA email will also include instructions on how and where to ship the returning unit. Please note that you have to bear the cost of shipping the returned unit to us. We will bear the cost of shipping the replacement unit to you, but only if the original purchase is made from our website.

You should take note of the RMA number assigned to your return. Please refer to this number in any communication with us to follow up on your warranty claim.

When we receive your returned unit, we will dispatch a new unit to you using the same ordering process as a new order. You will receive email at this point to advise you that we have received your returned unit, and the order number of the replacement unit. You can now track the progress of your replacement unit in the same way as ordering a new unit.

This RMA process is only applicable for units bought through the Digital Works Online Store. Please do not use this process for units bought through real world stores.

Refunds

Should you be unhappy with the product for any other reason (other than defect), and would like a refund rather than a replacement, please use the RMA process as described above, explaining the reason for your dissatisfacton. If we determine that the grounds for your dissatisfaction are reasonable, we will approve an RMA so that you can return the goods to us. Upon receipt of your returned goods in good condition, we will credit your card account by the purchase amount.

Please note that we will only approve refund requests that are made within 14 days of receipt of the product.
